Quality Assurance and Quality Control

Transgulf Cement Products LLC maintains a quality control for all range of products in all stages starting from raw material selection to final finished products. To benefit the products for high quality, an in-house laboratory was established under the research and development to carry out all relevant tests/checks for paving blocks, masonry blocks and kerbstones/flags. This laboratory was run by a research and development Manager with materials technicians. This company was certified by ISO 9001 for the benefit to maintain high quality products.

The routine tests and quality inspection checks are performed on daily basis to raw materials and continuously to on going products following BS, ASTM, Dubai Municipality Local Order 44 and Abu Dhabi technical specifications.

The quality of our products are ensured in the following stages:

Our Plants are regularly checked and maintained by experienced engineers and trained technicians.

Aggregates and washed sand - routine checks are carried out by physical inspection as well as by sieve analysis of all produced aggregates and washed sand, to ensure consistency of quality gradings
Cement - routine checks involves mandatory submission of test certificate by the Supplier against each delivery complying with BS-12-1995 and 4027-1996
Water- Drinking water from DEWA
Pigments- routine checks involves mandatory submission of test
certificate by the Supplier against each delivery complying
with BS-1014-1975 (1986)

All aggregates and sand are stored in separate bay areas covered with mesh on the sides to prevent dust pollution

Weighing scales are regularly checked by approved laboratory.

Complying with BS 6717, BS 7263, BS 6073 and Local Order No. 4
Classification in the yard date-wise to ensure FIFO system of dispatch to various job sites, with identification tags
